Not a wishlist handed down from above — a record of what an entire generation is asking for, gathered in their own words.
The youth manifesto seeks to fulfil two direct aims:
To highlight the key issues at stake for young people in Malaysia from 2027 to 2032.
To provide a clear direction for mobilisation between advocacy groups on how to strategically engage and communicate with Malaysian youth in the lead up to GE16.

How is this manifesto different?
Unlike a traditional manifesto drafted behind closed doors, this one is built through participatory consultations.
Focus groups, youth dialogues and public consultations with youth groups, NGOs and CSO partners across Malaysia.
It is not a to-do list for the incoming government. It is a shared vision of the Malaysia young people aspire to build — and proof that such a future is possible.
What happens with the manifesto?
The complete manifesto launches ahead of GE16 and becomes a mobilisation tool.
A clear direction for advocacy groups on how to strategically engage Malaysian youth.
And a public record of what young Malaysians demand from those who seek to represent them.
The manifesto is still being written
We're not ready for signatures yet. The Secretariat is still working through the demands young Malaysians have sent in, and we'd rather put out something worth signing than something fast.
